Community
Involvement
Involvement in community-based sports programs has always
been a major priority for the Bone and Joint Clinic, and
includes a deep level of commitment to youth sports
across the Ark-La-Tex region. Across a history that spans
four decades, Bone and Joint Clinic has provided athletic
training advice, sports clinic, sports physicals as well
as financial support to a variety of youth programs. In
addition, area high schools and universities have
benefitted from the expertise of this commitment –
including a long-standing relationship with the athletic
programs of Louisiana Tech University. The vision of the
Bone and Joint Clinic continues to focus on the overall
physical, mental and social benefits of organized team
sports and athletic participation in general. For many
years, the Bone and Joint Clinic has enjoyed a strong
alliance with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and
many other organizations. It is the strength of this
commitment to the advancement of excellence in sports
medicine that continues to serve as the very foundation
of the Bone and Joint Clinic.
According to Terry Slack, area director for the
Fellowship of Christian Athletes, “Dr. Bundrick grasps
the vision of the FCA and realizes the importance of the
spiritual aspect of the athlete. He is an important
member of our team who has been there at every turn for
every need.”
